Please note: Some products (such as Pickles & Pastes) are Oil Based: The jars are not completely leak proof and it is not uncommon for a little to leak during transit (as we cannot guarantee it remains upright). If a little oil has leaked / simply top it up with a little Veg Oil to maintain the seal between atmosphere and sauce.

• Once an order has been despatched it cannot be cancelled. Any packages returned to us, due to inability to make delivery, or incomplete address, will have return shipping charges deducted at the full rate. Outgoing charges will also be deducted at the full rate (prior to any shipping discount applied based on the order value).

Delivery Schedule We endeavour to ship your order within 1 business day – subject to weekends, Bank Holidays and/or other national holidays. UK delivery is normally within 1 to 5 business days. International orders are generally received in under 7 days. Note: all estimated delivery times are based on Date of Dispatch (ie. not necessarily Date of Order).

Please note: Business days are defined as Monday-Friday 8am-6pm. Next Day delivery options are only possible if we receive your order before 12pm (excluding some Fruits, Vegetables and Sweets which are only despatched on Tuesdays). If there is any doubt – feel free to telephone us.

Most courier services require a signature on delivery. It is your responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive the parcel and that the delivery driver is able to gain access to the delivery address / building. Where delivery instructions are left, ie without signature, we cannot not be held responsible for any missing goods. For example, if you request leaving in a bin where recycling may happen, or, in an outhouse that could be accessed by 3rd parties. The risk lies with you. If you are out, goods may be taken to a Post Office for collection at your convenience. Any uncollected UK parcels that are returned to us will incur penalty delivery charges (currently £6.95) and these will be deducted from any refund together with the original P&P. If you request us to resend a returned parcel, you will need to pay the penalty delivery charge as well as the standard P&P for the second delivery.

Back Orders In the unlikely event that an item you ordered is not in stock we reserve the right to substitute it with smaller pack sizes, making up the required quantity, and/or another Brand of similar quality. Failing this we will either a) automatically refund the item or, b) if the item(s) represent a major part of your order, we would email you to advise you of the situation, with potential options, and request your advice on how you would like to proceed.

Guarantee We endeavour to guarantee your satisfaction at all times. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with our service – please contact us via our website or email address. Please note we do not provide customer services or answer order queries through third party and social media sites.

Privacy Policy All customer details remain confidential. Balsara’s will not disclose your information to third parties except for the purpose of arranging delivery.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the ‘Remember Me’ Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process.

Data collected by this site is used by Balsara’s to process customer orders and to administer and enhance the site and services we provide.

We do not hold your credit/debit card details, or have access to them, at any time.

Returns Policy We want you to be completely satisfied with our service and products. If, for any reason you are not entirely happy – please tell us.

To request a refund or replacement please contact us first by email or telephone. We may require you to return the goods, at your cost, to us for inspection. Balsara’s will not be liable for returned goods that are lost or damaged in transit and recommend that you obtain proof of posting.

The following items are excluded from our returns policy: Gift Vouchers, Beauty Products, Food Products, Food Gifts Sets, Incense Products. These products can only be returned in accordance with your legal rights.

Refunds will only be given in accordance with your legal rights on the above products. If your product is faulty, damaged or unfit for purpose, please report this to us within 24-hours of receipt. Please note you will be asked to provide photographic evidence of any damaged goods. Remember, if you signed for the goods, you signed as ‘received in Good Condition’. Please be sure to check goods before signing.

You may return other unopened goods within 7-days of receipt and, subject to inspection and acceptance, we will refund or provide replacement(s) as applicable. We can arrange to reverse UK collect goods for you. The current charge is £12.95 per parcel (max 27kg goods).

Refunds will only be made via the credit/debit card or Paypal account used for the original transaction. Refunds will have post and packing charges deducted. Where an order qualified for free post and packing, we will deduct our post and packing costs from the refund. We reserve the right to deduct any other charges incurred by us such as credit card transaction fees, picking/packing costs, restocking costs, packaging material and return postage fees.
Any goods despatched by us in error remain the property of Balsara’s. If you receive any goods by mistake, that weren’t ordered, please contact us within 7-days to arrange for us to collect them.
